Whilst studying Art foundation Kelly found a subject in tune with her thinking - Fashion. She extended this to her Degree course in Nottingham where she studied Menswear. She was invited to show at London Graduate Fashion Week which was a great opportunity and it was whilst there that the next step in her career presented itself.

The Director of the London College of Fashion Masters programme was in the audience and later invited her onto the course. This opportunity to continue her own designs was too good to miss, so she moved to London and started her Masters in Fashion Design and Technology.
Whilst simultaneously gathering new contacts and inspiration she entered a competition to create a collection for Li-Ning the famous Chinese sports company to coincide with the 2008 Olympics - and got through to the final in Beijing. Not only the final but Kelly was the overall winner giving her the title of Li-Ning Sportswear Designer of the year 2007.
From this she was offered a job as Menswear Design Manager in a company based in China creating contemporary Men's fashion.

Whilst working with Yishion Kelly has travelled on several work related trips to London, Barcelona, Japan, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong (and many other Chinese towns) which has broadened her outlook even more.

Kelly has now finished her contract with Yishon and will be returning to the UK mid April.
